My AR did not come with the front sight tool so I got one from Ebay and I am having the most difficult time adjusting it. I need pliers on the tool to make any changes. Is there something I'm missing or a better tool I can use?

In California and I also have a new rifle. I purchased extra pmags and hex mags and have not been disappointed with either. I shot through 3 full hex mags without a malfunction in any of them.
