I'd be interested in a stainless steel polished version that was all one piece. The filler plate and hole plug all in one piece. You pull back the spring, and press it into the hole. I think it could be done.
I quit using Photobucket years ago when they went to a paid service. I had also pulled all of my photos from everywhere as well.
I think with Facebook, if you put pictures on there, you give them the right to use your photos for whatever they want.
What's up with the photobucket photos not showing up on this site? I've seen it a few times here and there on other sites. Something about 3rd part hosting.
I had looked at getting a bead blasted S&W. I hate bead blasted finish and had asked S&W if they could polish it out with their polish service. But they said they can't polish a bead blast.
The G-Sight 45 ACP that I was looking at doesn't use orings:
Here's that one:
.45 ACP Premium Laser Bore Sight | G-Sight Solutions LLC
Though the G-Sight ALSO offers a 45 ACP laser bullet that will stay lite up the whole time. It's $20. I'll probably at least get this so I can line up my...
Man, I HATE the bead blast finish. Been thinking of getting a new cheap J-frame revolver to go along with my N-Frame 625 .45ACP. And they all are bead blast unless you get the pricier $800 versions that have a satin brushed finish.
Glad my brand new 625-8 PC seems to have come out alright. About only thing I notice is the gap line in between the crane and frame when shut. Would have liked to have had no gap there at all. Looks like the crane or frame was cut to give some room for error when shut instead of a tight fit...
I've got a 625-8 that takes .45 ACP.
I just picked up the Laserlyte Quick Tyme laser target:
LaserLyte — Quick Tyme(R) Target
I didn't get their .45 ACP laser bullet as it uses o-rings which I've read complaints of it throwing the laser off. Also not sure if it would fit a revolver. LT-45...
I always hate that when say you are reading up a thread that has a problem that needs fixed. Then the OP never follows up if the fix worked or what ended up being wrong, etc.
I believe in states rights. But I do hate how California's regulations generally seem to affect all 50 states. Lots of items out there where the company doesn't want to make a dumbed down California legal product they sell in California and sell the regular product to the other 49 states...
You are correct. But as said those are only for the older revolvers. Smith and Wesson said they quit putting out parts schematics because their parts change and they don't want people using them and get the wrong parts. Makes no sense when there are older schematics floating around that people...
I'd like to buy one for my 625-8. I did see a video a while back from MidwayUSA that they were using a clear side plate on. I had figured they had it custom made. Never knew they used to be sold to the public.
