    I also bought a S&W 15-6 recently in 38 special 6" barrel. Serial # BJB7231 purchased in Canada. I am the 3rd owner. Was BNIB to second owner. I also have the original box. I think it is early 1990's but would appreciate any info you can provide. Pics attached.

    Bought a K22 Masterpiece 17-2. I'm the 3rd owner. Info suggested 1957 vintage, but not sure. Serial # K728513, bought in Canada. 6" barrel. Do you think the large wooden grips are original? Pics attached. I did get the original box too. Thanks, Bryan

    Thanks, that's very likely. Most manufacturers make guns to be exported to Canada on a special run. There are no guns sold here with barrels shorter than 4.1" or mags more than 10 rounds. Other guns with shorter barrels are classified as prohibited and can't be generally acquired, all others...

    Hi, I just got a used S&W 686-3 SN BEJ6977. Under the yoke. It has a 6" barrel, stainless, with wooden grips. Previous owner bought it in the late 90's also used. Any info on manufacture or ship date appreciated. Likely bought in Canada originally. Thanks, Bryan
