    Getting old ain't for sissies!

Being 83 years old I can relate to most of the above issues. Three back surgeries, and knee replacement. None of the above surgeries helped me, and pain keeps getting worse. Also, pain meds do not help. However, I"m very thankful for all that God has done for me. Things could be worse.

S&W 65 in 3 inch Compared to the Chiappa Rhino 30DS in 3 inch…Thoughts Please.

I would not swap any S&W revolver for another revolver unless it was for another older S&W, or a Colt.

Feeling more secure with a revolver vs. a semi-auto?

I love 1911's, but it is hard to beat a good revolver. I carried both during my thirty years in law enforcement,

Why are people more cautious carrying a chambered bodyguard 2.0?

Pocket carry If I want to carry a gun in my pocket, it is always a revolver. I'm 83 years old and have been carrying concealed handguns for 60 years. I have two striker fired pistols, and not too impressed with either one of them.

Any love for Glocks around here?

I had three of them. Did not like them, and was not comfortable carrying them. It's really hard to find a better handgun than a good revolver or a 1911 pistol.

    Model 64 over stamped

    I have a Model 13-1 that was originally stamped 10-6. It's a .357 magnum. I've been using S & W's since 1965 and this is the only one I have ever seen.

Fading loyalty to Smith and Wesson

I carried a 642 for years, and then about eight years ago I bought a used Colt Cobra. Recoil was not as bad, and for me it was a more accurate revolver.

    3 inch s&w 65

I got one earlier this year from local police distributer. It was dirty, and had a lot of scratches, and very banged up grips, but is in great condition mechanically. I cleaned and polished it and replaced the grips. Looks great. Total cost, about $240.00

    USAF karma...

Was in from 59-63, a Veterinary Specialist for 3 & half years at Shaw AFB in South Carolina. Was E_4 when dis-charged. I was blessed with two good officers and several good NCO's. At that time Shaw was in TAC.
