No, its not the camo model, just the standard black not a compliant model. Mine also has the adjustable stock. Not sure why they would have different configurations for the same gun, kinda weird!

    Ammunition

So I went out this weekend and shot both boxes. The one labeled CBC M80 ball(Goldish box), and the one labeled Magtech .308(blue box). The CBC had many failures, and the Magtech only had one out of 50. Kind of weird that even though both are "Magtech" they don't perform the same. The picture...

    Need help

The stock setup is a rifle length tube, a rifle length spring, and a carbine length buffer. That's why I questioned the change to a rifle length buffer.

I recently changed the buffer and spring in my M&P 10. I actually did it to mitigate the recoil some so my wife was more comfortable shooting it. I got the XH carbine buffer and AR10 spring from heavybuffers.com. The only ammo I've had problems with since doing that is the HSM 150 grain, but...

I might try both again down the road when the gun gets broken in a little better, but as of right now I won't be buying...

Looking to mitigate recoil from my M&P 10

So I have been doing a lot of searching lately on how to reduce the felt recoil on my M&P 10 as well, not so much for me, but my wife likes to shoot, and it is a little heavy for her. She is pretty small. Anyways, it's hard to find anything concrete from anyone other than people saying it feels...

    Ammunition

I have had problems with short stroking with CBC and HSM ammo. HSM has been by far the worst, 1 out of 3 short stroke, the CBC isn't as bad. I've put PMC .308, American Eagle .308, Winchester 7.62, and Fiocchi .308 with no problems what so ever. All were 147 or 150 grain. I've noticed that...
