Does anyone know who may have Model 41 magazines that work? S&W is out of stock; Midway's do not work; Brownell is also out of stock. The 2 that came with the gun, function flawlessly. The 3 that I bought from Midway were difficult to insert and even more difficult to remove. Any help is...
I know its out here somewhere, but, shy did S&W discontinue the model 25, especially the .45 ACP cartridge?
I have the feeling that they're going into a lot of plastic and stainless steel. Just wondering...
Classics?
A department that built the Classics would be nice. Too much plastic and stainless, not that I don't like stainless (easier to clean). but I do miss polished BLUE guns. Just sayin...
I'm considering putting a Vortex red dot on a 625 S&W. Which mount would you folks recommend for this revolver? Which model Vortex? I'm thinking of a 6MOA dot. Thanks.
610 Cylinder?
Is the 610 with an unfluted cylinder still available? I looked on the S&W website and not find any mention of a '610 Classic'. Thanks, Ed
It sounds like I am looking for a 25-2. Is it still being produced, or can it go through the custom shop? I've owned a 625JM for a couple of years, and really like not having to chase brass as I do with my 1911s.
So, a Model 25 using moon clips to accomodate the ACP round should work? Any issues with leading? The bullet has to jump a little more. Just wondering. Thanks again.
Has S&W ever produced a model 625 with a 6" barrel? Or, have they ever produced a model 25 (6"), chambered in 45 ACP. The case dims differ between the 45ACP and 45 Colt. Just wondering. Thanks.
So, will a new Leupold Deltapoint (out of the box) mount in place of the rear sight currently used by S&W? From all pics (except a few) It appears that it should be a one-for-one swap. Thanks
Model 14?
When did the model 14 get discontinued? I owned a NEW 14-3 (I think - 6" bbl, .500 trigger, .500 hammer). One of the sweetest pistols I ever had. Sold it for a Gold Cup.
Now I'm looking for one again to punch paper, and S&W doesn't build them any longer. Thanks.
