I have some Remington 158gr LRN I bought for cheap plinking ammo. Tried them in two different guns and they leaded terribly. I've used maybe 1/2 dozen different manufacture's "hard cast" lead bullets and not had any problems leading in smooth barrels with no restrictions and proper sized...

Two overused words I would not miss if I never heard again... Wheelgun and Tactical.

I don't know much about most of it, but that trigger guard looks just like the brass ones on my Thompson Center Hawkin muzzleloaders.

Is that a blued cylinder in a stainless frame or is it the lighting in this photo?

Thanks for the responses... I bought a new 586 back in the early 90's, don't recall any tools coming with that one either

New member here.... been seeing a lot of postings referring to guns purchased with original box and tools... My question, what kind of tools come or came with s&w revolvers, specifically a 686-6 I am looking to purchase. Not that it makes that much difference, I have lots of tools, just curious...
