    Does anyone know what year S&W began placing emblems in the grips ? I just aquired a 1 1/2 with ivories and there is no Id on the grips except for numbers inside to match the frame #...Local "Expert" mumbled "well they can"t be factory they got no emblems" I showed him a photo of cased 1 1/2...
