    RRA 2 stage trigger

The RRA 2 stage is the only trigger I have ever used in my 15-22. It hasn't had any problems in several thousand rounds.

Barrel rotated when trying to remove flash suppresser

sorry, no its not good, you need proper tools. There is a nut holding on the barrel. You need to clamp the barrel in a vice, with something softer like nylon or aluminum. Probably no permanent damage is done have your gunsmith check it over. Make sure the feed ramp and ejector are properly aligned.

    Bayonet ???

Its only funny because its so sad… Were they worried people were going to get robbed at bayonet point?? Here plenty of things have been banned simply because they look "scary" Well you would have to come up with something that could clamp to the barrel in place of a gas block, some m4 and m16...

    Bayonet ???

Really??? its a .22 rifle….. Aren't you not allowed to bring a defensive weapon knife (bayonet) out in public anyways? Here in the great state of Massachusetts bayonets have been banned  Wouldn't want anyone to get hurt with a knife on the end of a gun...:rolleyes:

How can I extend the 6-Position CAR Stock

Im not sure how much you need it extended (do you know how to check for your length of pull?) Magpul makes some extended rubber butt pads for their MOE and CRT stocks. That would give you another .7"

For you FDE people, try a GOLD crayon!

Are you speaking from experience? This hasn't happened to me… I also used crayon on my glock 36 slide which I use for EDC. It has held up fine, but I will probably redo that in a lacquer paint. I just wanted to how it would look 1st.

    Painting M&P 15-22

Hi Rob, Welcome to the forum. Those pieces are not painted they are accessories from magpul. Magpul Industries Ecommerce I am not sure how you could paint your stock stuff, maybe a plastic paint or die? IMO you are better off buying new pieces like the grip and stock.

    Ideas for transition sight

yes, but I think it would be even more awkward trying to look above your scope then rotating the rifle 45 degrees.

Funny… I have gotten quite a guys interested in the 15-22 at my local club. A few of them have AR-15's the others shoot even larger calibers. No doubt shooting a 5.56 is a lot of fun. I will probably end up building one myself soon, I am also looking into a 1911 build. But I wont be giving up...

    Need advice for my son

I am certainly no child expert, I dont have any yet. But I think a lot depends on the kid. I have seen some surprisingly smart and clever kids and plenty of adults that make me want to bang my head against a wall….. I wouldnt want them to be use a firearm…. I personally think if a kid can...

    Need advice for my son

That is normal. Just because you are right handed doesnt mean you will be right eye dominant. There is a simple test that can be done to determine your dominant eye. Stretch both hands directly out in front of you, with both hands make a small hole between your pointer fingers and thumbs. focus...
