I understand what you mean now Don. the Magsafe epoxy shatters on impact to dispurse the shot as opposed to on Discharge.

The only company offering a 500 Magnum shotshell would be Magsafe which has 25 pieces of #2 Shot. The shot is suspended in Marine Epoxy so it may have less of an impact on compensated barrels.

Something in this size range would be nice from S&W....

Don, I did stumble onto Magsafe who just came out with a 500 Magnum round that contains 25 Pieces of #2 plated shot suspended in marine epoxy . 210 Grain wt. that travels at 2150 Feet per second with 2155 FT. LBS of energy.

I am hoping to get a real nice set of wood grips for the LCR soon!

you can also get 45LC shotshells and use it as a snake gun which I have done with the snub model.. I have not seen Shot Shells offered for the 500 Magnum. I am interested in getting some though.

At the range, the 500 is the most popular and you will make more friends. At close to $3 bucks a pop, letting them fire it is like buying them a beer or two...

and the S&W does'nt have a transfer bar that "rattles"..

nice little gun but the "Rattle" of the Transfer bar will give you away every time your in a situation where you are maneuvering and need to be absolutely quiet.
