Except for the barrel length, it looks similar what I carried as both an off-duty and an on-duty back up for years (a Model 19 2-inch). Yes, it wasn't something that I could hide under a T-shirt... But it was a sweet piece. Muzzle flash was quite a show.

I carried a Model 28-2 as a duty weapon for several years. Finally sold it to my Father-in-law. I'm headed down for a visit and I think I'll see if I can buy it back !!! Nice weapon. Really.
