    Winchester 1906 engraved by who??

I didn't know anyplace else to post a Q w/o having to buy membership. Anyway I got this killer Winchester 1906 engraved and all tricked out. See attached pics. Would like to know if any of you recognize the engraving on the receiver. Trying to figure out who did it. Thanks in advance and take...

    K-22 Outdoorsman 4" barrel

Thanks for the info! Man, I learned a ton of stuff. It sounds to me like the 4" Outdoorsman was a big hit here on S&W forum. I called S&W and talked to one of the techies. He said with a serial #669781 DOM was around 1935. He also said that if I lettered it they wouldn't have any info about a...

    K-22 Outdoorsman 4" barrel

Gents: Serial # is 669781. No rework star by a date or anything. I have two other K-22 Outdoorsmans so I've been able to compare somewhat. The barrel is numbered to the revolver frame and cylinder.

    K-22 Outdoorsman 4" barrel

The Outdoorsman I have shown looks EXACTLY like your .38 on top of the barrel. In fact, except for the grips, they're twins.

    K-22 Outdoorsman 4" barrel

I acquired a K-22 Outdoorsman w/4" barrel. It looks too good to be a "bubba" job and the bluing is immaculate. I took pics of the gun and the frame under the grips for gunsmith marks. Just any thoughts on this revolver before I go and letter it. Thanks Capt. John

    22/32 pre war kit guns

They all have recessed chambers. The one with the older gold recessed medallions has a star by the serial #. None of the others do. The target stocks with gold recessed medallions do not have a number stamped on them. I got those aftermarket. The ones on the gun were not original and crummy. I...

    22/32 pre war kit guns

Dave: Be glad to give you serial #'s. In a bit. Since I put these pics on the forum I've acquired one more pre-war and one post war engraved. I think it's around 1950. I'll get back to you and maybe I'll post a pic of all of them. Thanks capt. John

    Ropers, Kings, Matheis Gagne??

K-22 Outdoorsman Everyone: The pin in the grips is the pin in the gun and just came out with the grips.

    Ropers, Kings, Matheis Gagne??

S&W grips Everyone: Thanks for all the info. The grips are on a K-22 Outdoorsman circa 1930's. I had a gentlemen named Jim Rogers who I think is pretty skookum in grips say they were NOT Roper or others but a real nice pair of knock offs. Realize this was during the depression so making money...

    The wonderful world of J-frames!

Model 51 DOB Hello fellow SW enthusiasts! I have a real nice SW model 51 with serial # M3XX. Anyone tell me when it was born?? It also has a 22lr cylinder with it, target trigger, laser, target hammer and custom horn grips. I'd appreciate it if someone can fire off to me the DOB. I'd appreciate...

    Hello from Alaska!

Thanks, guys, for all the intros. Ogly, if this K22 is 1956 then it is a "transition" K22 so the four screw and the date match up. Now, last but not least, anyone have an idea what it's worth?? Mostly NIB with the only scratch on the gun is the cylinder ring. But aside from all that I've...
