    Need quick advise on a 29-1 value

    The #29 came from the factory (standard run) in 4", 6 1/2" & 8 3/8"...... Some special editions, ie Lew Horton came in shorter lengths, BUT NOT 5"! & definately NOT with a screwed down front sight. Be aware, very aware....

    Talk to me about a Kimber Ultra Carry II

    The only problem I've know the 3" 1911 to have (and that includes all manufactures) is they can be "picky" about what kind of ammo they'll digest. Usually, a polish job on the feed ramp & throat take care of the issue...... Appears to be a good price though.....

    Dry Firing a .22 lr handgun

    IF you accidently damage the edge of your 22 chamber by dry firing, a gunsmith can "iron" out the ding, if it's not to bad. I've seen & fixed this sort of thing before. ( you just need the right tool )....John
