After finally having the groups open up on my Glock 17 (it's got 20,000+ rounds through it) I ordered a new barrel and it's coming in today so I'll sight it in tonight. I'll probably bring the 15-3 as well.
I was just listening to an interview with Bill Vanderpool and he was explaining that the AR in AR15 stood for Automatic Rifle.... Kind of makes me wonder how much other bad information he's putting out there.
Initials I could have handled this was the whole name in large block letters that looked like he'd used a hammer and die. Way worse than the description suggested.
I ended up passing on it. When I got there I was hopeful it would at least be tasteful or low key. Instead it looks like someone stamped it with a hammer and die. It wasn't worth it to me at that point.
So I found a decent deal on a 686-1 but the previous over had someone engrave their name on the side plate. If I do end up picking it up is there anywhere to buy a replacement side plate so that I can get rid of the engraved one?
I have been using a Glock for EDC for several years now and have had no issues with it. That being said my new issued weapon (if the expected changes occur) will be an M&P40. So I have been thinking should I transition to an M&P9 for off duty as well? It would seem that carrying the same...
