    K-22 Target Masterpiece

Thanks guys for your comments. DWalt, I'm not sure if he has any accessories with the box. He did say when they took it to a local gun shop the owner really liked it but he has no plans to sell it. I told him to get it lettered and give the letter to his Dad for Christmas!

    K-22 Target Masterpiece

A friend at work showed me pictures today of a very nice K-22 that his grandfather passed down to his Dad. Serial number is K236xxx, which I believe is mid-fifties. Finish is at least 95%, and he has the original dark charcoal box, which I believe was only used for a very short time. I told...

    M&P 45 question

I'm looking at buying an M&P 45 with 4" barrel. It would be a range and home defense gun. I'm a big fan of both pistols and revolvers in four inch. I like the caliber and the 10+1 capacity. Any thoughts/comments on this particular pistol are appreciated. "Fast is fine, but accuracy is...

    Range Question

I live in Maryland, north of Baltimore. Does anyone know of a Range within, say, 3-4 hour drive where you can rent and shoot an M1 Garand? My Dad carried an M1 in WWII and have always wanted to shoot one but never had the opportunity. Charlie

    Need help with nickel K-frame

Thanks to all for clarification. The asking price is $299. It is a square butt and definitely not the original grips, I think it had Pachmayr's on it. Charlie

    Need help with nickel K-frame

A local gun shop has an old S&W hand ejector in .38 special. It is nickel plated and in very rough shape but mechanically tight. It has a 5 inch barrel, it's a 5-screw, and has round, half-moon front sight. On the butt is the letter C, then a good inch of space, then a six digit number...

Thanks guys for your input! Not sure if I'll buy it, but as a wise man once said, "You can't own too many Smith and Wesson's". Charlie

    Need assistance regarding 27-2

A LGS has a very nice Model 27-2 for sale. It's blue with 8 and 3/8 barrel. Has a Patridge front sight, target hammer, target trigger, and original grips. I'm no expert but would rate finish at least 95%. Comes with a presentation case that I have not seen. It has been fired. Shop owner...

In search of a model 10

Another vote for purchasing one from Bud's. Bought a four inch Model 10 heavy barrel from them 2 years ago for $290. Lots of holster wear but mechanically sound. Don't see many HB's at gun shows. "Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything." ---- Wyatt Earp

    S&W 19-3 or 19-5??

Another vote for the 19-3. Just bought one in January and love it! No box or docs; that's OK, I'm a shooter, not a collector. Bet you can't buy just one. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. "Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything." -- Wyatt Earp

    Score....19-3 2 1/2"

Great purchase! I bought one last month for $475 from LGS. SCSW dates it 1972. Feel like I got a good deal considering used guns are usually way overpriced here in the People's Republic of Maryland. "Fast is fine but accuracy is everything.' ---- Wyatt Earp

    Ammo for Model 19

I'm picking up a Model 19-3 with 2.5 inch barrel this week. I plan on shooting frequently. What's a good .38 special target load for the range? What do you guys recommend for a .38 self-defense load and also a .357 defense load. The consensus seems to be to limit .357 ammo to about 20...

Found myself a 19-2 2.5 inch Combat Magnum

TrolleyGuy, Congrats on your purchase! Great minds think alike. Put money down today on a 2.5 inch Model 19-3. SCSW dates it 1972. No box or docs, not original grips, but I'm a shooter, not a collector. Will try to post pics when I pick it up. "Fast is fine, but accuracy...
