    M&P Sight Pusher? Any Advice?

I have a Wheeler sight pusher tool and it works very well. I needed to purchase a better way of adjusting sights, as today's crop of hand gun sights seem to be very tightly fitted beyond what I wanted to do with a hammer and punch. Many of the pistols now come with night sights that contain...

Anybody Else Use Bianchi Lightning Grip

FINAL CORRECTION: I must have been very tired when I posted "this correction" !!!! The two targets in POST #14 ARE marked correctly as being shot SA. When I saw my post again I realized the mistake and could no longer edit it there - so posting another correction here.

Front pocket /appendix holster for J frame, replace Uncle Mike's sidekick size 4 ?

I have used a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster for 3 decades. When pocket carrying my M60-7 (up until 6 years ago) that was my pocket holster of choice. When I switched my EDC over to my Sig P365 I bought the same brand and model for the Sig. I find them extremely light weight, they break up the...

Shot my first Glock model 26 today, here are my thoughts and impressions......

I agree with not carrying a 380 but sometime pocket carry is the solution to not carrying a gun. There are times I wear a "bathing suit" or "sport shorts" and a Tee shirt if I am planning to work around the house that day. Here in FL they are comfortable and if I feel like jumping into our pool...

Shot my first Glock model 26 today, here are my thoughts and impressions......

I will answer your question to the best of my ability. The reason behind my saying Glock dropped the ball is because the Glock 43 is not comparable to a Sig P365. IMHO, you just can't compare a 6+1 to a 10+1 round (flush mag) capacity. Secondly, the Glock 43X is not a pocket carry option IMO -...

Shot my first Glock model 26 today, here are my thoughts and impressions......

I am not and have never been a Glock owner but have shot a few on occasion when friends bring their to the range. In general I think they are excellent for law enforcement and uniformed carry but for most civilians to EDC / CCW they are just too large, bulky and heavy. I think they are extremely...

    Gerstner Tool/Memory Box

I am happy to say and a bit surprised that Gerstner Tool Box Co. has continued to survive and flourish in this day and age when the majority of people buy their tools and boxes on sale at Harbor Freight, Lowes and Home Depot. Add to the fact that the Professional Machinist as we knew it has all...

    Gerstner Tool/Memory Box

Leon, PLEASE "bore us" and give us the tour! lol. I have always loved real Gerstner tool boxes and have looked at them on and off for decades but never bought one. I even once got plans to build one myself and was going to but I never seemed to have the time. My new workshop (as of 3 1/2 years...

    I need a coffee maker

Just last Sunday we were at a friend's BBQ. After a delicious steak dinner they asked "who wants coffee"? We answered yes and about 3 minutes later they handed us our coffee. In fact it was not regular coffee, it was Cappuccino. It was outstanding to say the least! My wife also got cappuccino...

Business CEO's and business practices in general

IMO the way to increase sales is to step up their selection, variety and quality. Since the logo has been there so long, leave that alone so as not to piss off the regulars that still patronize the place. I don't think that anybody really gave their old logo much thought at all (until this...

Thought I scored a new set of stocks for my 681

The whole allure with the L frame is that they use the same size grip frame as a K. Many find an N frame revolver too large when it comes to grips.

WOW - now that's commitment! Nice score too! Sounds like something you really look forward to doing.

Anybody Else Use Bianchi Lightning Grip

Each person has what works best for them. For me it was a custom grip, others, don't mind dressing with certain cover garments. No right or wrong. I gave up on rubber grips decades ago as they are too bulky, grabby and tend to induce rusting. Whatever works!

Anybody Else Use Bianchi Lightning Grip

Two suggestions I can offer to give you more a hand-filling grip on a small compact revolver. The first is a well known item - the Tyler T Grip. It makes the small and thin factory grips that came on a J Frame years ago feel like a bigger grip and gives you more control under recoil. They happen...

    9mm ammo deal

9mm practice ammo is one example of a caliber there is no advantage in reloading - at least as far as cost is concerned. UNLESS of course you have a lifetime supply of primers, powder and projectiles and have the time and willingness to invest. Currently, 9mm range ammo has come down and is...
