    WHY THE FLUTE?

I read quite a bit on Fluted vs Unfluted before I got my 686+. I don't think there is any distinct advantage either way for an average shooter. It's just a personal preference. I doubt many, including myself, will ever shoot the revolver enough that the extra weight on the cylinder will cause...

    Picked up a 686+

3 in barrel, 7 round unfluted cylinder. Apparently, it's a Talo edition, which I didn't know at the time of purchase. Was really looking for a 627 pro or PC but couldn't find one locally. Not sure how I feel about these grips yet as I have not shot it. Will get to shoot it today or...

    Ejector Rods

yeah my gun did the same on it's first range trip. it shot just fine but it was getting harder and harder to open and close the cylinder. at first I thought it was because it was dirty. after cleaning it, I saw that the rod had backed out quite a bit. to the point where the cylinder would not go...

NPRC S&W 586 WTT or WTS

586 are chambered for .38/.357 and I think the .38 only models are pretty hard to come by and they are usually from Brazil from what I've read.
