I agree. Compared with Hogue Grips, I prefer Pachmayr Compacs on small revolvers, and Presentations on large, because they're wider side-to side, shorter front-to-back, cushion the backstrap, feel less sticky, and don't have finger grooves. I've also noticed a slip in the quality of newer Pachs...
