586 No Dash, No "M", No Problem

I mostly shoot 158gr 357. I just wanted to see if my 586 was one that needed the firing pin bushing recall work. Now I need to find a 625 or 22-4 so that I can have a revolver to shoot :D.

586 No Dash, No "M", No Problem

I finally ran some hot 125gr 357 mag through my no dash 586 that has not had the "M" recall work done on it. No problems at all, it ran like a champ (Federal and Remington). Although my son has now decided that it is his favorite gun, and that 357 is more fun to shoot than 38 special. This could...

    Need help guys s&w m586

A really poorly done re-finish. They even re-finished the front sight, you can still see a little of the orginal orange. Why would you do that to such a nice S&W?

Thanks, that is exactly the type of holster I am looking for. I may have to order one for my 1911 at the same time.

How did I do? 586 no dash

Can anyone recommend a non-thumb strap leather holster for this gun? The only thing I have been able to find so far is the Galco Combat Master. I'd like to run this gun at my next steel match in April. I already upgraded the grips to Pachmayr Grippers, so as soon as I find a holster I'll be...

How did I do? 586 no dash

Hi all. I'm a new S&W owner and I'm wondering how I did on my first S&W. I've been a semi-auto guy up to now. I recently went into my local gun store looking for an M&P 45 (none in stock) and I wound up buying a 4" 586 no dash (no "M" stamp) in about 95% condition. I paid $550 for it in Southern...
