    How do you cut foam to a partial depth?

    Cut off a 5/8"-thick slice from the entire piece using a bandsaw. Make your cutout in the slice, then glue it back on. I've done this several times for a few cases.

    I use the bottom of the magazine to lever it out, like using the claw of a framing hammer to pull out a nail. I saw that on several YouTube vids.

    The No. 3 fits just fine, but don't waste your time and money. Mine would not stay in my pocket. Get a Remora 8UC instead. Absolutely fabulous.

    I put the Dawson Precision sights on my wife's M&P 22. We both like them much better than the original sights. I did not have any difficulty removing the original sights or installing the new ones.

    Same experience here. No other FTEe and no FTFs. I did try two mags with just ten rounds and the first round did eject on those. Seems to be a problem when loading the mag with twelve. Didn't try eleven rounds in the mag.

    Thanks for the suggestions. We were using Federal bulk ammo. It worked fine except for those first rounds. Yes, the gun was cleaned of grease and nothing was dirty. It was not limp griping, because it happened to my son and I as well. I'll try the loaded clip trick to see if that helps.
