best "cheap" night sights for shield 9

amazon, don't know if they are still that cheap, sucks that cz-75 tfo's are 125 bucks though. the ones that fit m&p's will now fit shields. I understand about wanting to have 1 dot on the front, really do, but I can differentiate the front from the back pretty quickly, as the front sight is...

how often do you rotate defensive ammo (and how to do do it)?

definitely a difference in recoil in 9mm mouse guns like the shield vs something like a g19. A gen 4 g19 eats up recoil for its size and weight though, why I carry it a lot, but I still don't carry the hottest stuff I can find, rather stuff that is a balance of controllable/effective in testing...

how often do you rotate defensive ammo (and how to do do it)?

well I bought a box of 20, shot 4 out, then carried them for a couple of years in a cz p07. I got rid of the p07, started getting jams when I test fired out my my shield, then tried it in my glock, beretta, cz. Having failure to extract problems, like one round just simply didn't cycle at all in...

how often do you rotate defensive ammo (and how to do do it)?

Ok, I carry a shield 9 sometimes, sometimes I carry a glock 19, sometimes a Tristar CZ clone that is close to the same weight/size as my g19. Anyway, I used to carry around the same hollow points for months (if not years) in my pistol, not really thinking maybe cold weather or hot weather could...

best "cheap" night sights for shield 9

oh, update, my TFO's on shield 9mm http://i.imgur.com/gkXVGuk.jpg Absolutely love these sights, they are soo to see, night or day. Can't say the same about my trijicons on my glock 19 during low-light conditions, I really only have the trijicons because I got my glock in a trade. Changing them...

best "cheap" night sights for shield 9

well, to be honest, finding a tritium front dot only wasn't much less that $72, what my full set of TFO's costed me. I could've gotten the non-tfo tru-glo's (that I like better than real Trijicons) for $61, and I didn't find just a tritium front for less than like 50. TFO's help me shoot...

best "cheap" night sights for shield 9

I just bit and got some TFO's for $72 flat shipped. I actually asked for these for a christmas present, since I found them for a great price, I went ahead and got them. I doubt I'll sell this little piece I really like it and if I do the TFO's add a good bit more value because they are fiber...

best "cheap" night sights for shield 9

will any m&p sights fit? I've found some regular tru-glo's for $61 and TFO's for $75. now to decide whether to invest the extra $15 on the TFO's versus the regular Tru glo brite sights. I like both of them honestly, and adding TFO's would increase the value a bit more than $15 so I'm leaning...

I'm just looking for something in the $50-75 range really. The front post would work actually.

Tritium or just fiber optic? If you found some tritium hi-viz for $50, let me know please.

actually I have thought of this. For such a small gun it would work well. I would just have to make sure the front sight is the same height as the back factory.

best "cheap" night sights for shield 9

found some Ameriglos for 90 free shipping. 82.50 for the "two dot" which I've found the 'heiner' style sights to be nice on my m9 and my p229 (not tritium). I think it might help with sight acquisition because you're lining up 2 dots on top of each other instead of 3 that might get confused...

best "cheap" night sights for shield 9

ooh I can get TFO's cheaper than those. I would say price isn't an issue, but it kinda is, considering if they cost more than TFO's I'm probably gonna say "screw it" and get TFO's. I "uncle mike" my shield (on pistol I tote that I use a cheap holster, because hell it works as well as anything...

best "cheap" night sights for shield 9

ok first off let me thank everyone on this forum for being helpful second off, I want some tritium for my shield. I would tote it a lot more if I had them. My instincts say "TFO TFO" but those might be a little tall for my liking on the shield. Is there a decent brand that makes night sights...

almost brand new M&P 15 sport not wanting to fire

I meant I want a 1x red dot or a 3x "acog clone" scope, not both. The sigtac 3x prismatic scope has good reviews and is pretty much an acog clone. I've shot a real acog and it make reaching out to 100yds a breeze but I could swith to 50yds without any real effort. But those are worth twice as...
