    Hello all, I have in mind to join IDPA and want to change my 686-6 to 4" (to pinch a penny). My first question, would this make my revolver able to compete ... fit in the box? Could I make the revolver just the same as factory accurate by doing this? Would I detrament the value of my revolver...

    I planning on making a trip to tour S&W in Mass. If I go, would there be a way I could purchase from them @ S&W and send to my ffl? My reasoning about this is to see the product first .... and take a tour as well. :) What's your thoughts?

    I too have the 28 Highway Patrolman (My fav) and brought it with me when we shot the other day, and he automatically gravitated to the 686-6. (Obviously because of the finish) To me the 686 is the beauty and the 28 is the beast. (Meaning its one bad mother ...) Though in my personal collection...
