No it is a 6" K frame. A Model of 1905 forth change. Sn. 453611, so I'm guessing it was made in the late 20's. Now I have two pairs of this type of grips.

Well, I made it thru the first day. Picked up a nickel plated M&P just because I liked the grips..

All versions of the SCSW have errors in it. Each one gets better but it's still not the perfect "word of God" that some people want it to be.

Luckily my wife is going with me to do all the heavy lifting.:LOL:

As someone who has had tables at gun shows for over 30 years I have watched 75% of attendees walk right by tables with no prices marked. In this area just renting a table to show off what you got ceased being a thing decades ago. I was always there to make MONEY so I could buy more guns or...

Got all the bins packed up and priced. Just about got all the knives priced and the guns are all ready to go.

I have S 843454. It has a 2" barrel and is the oldest S series gun that I have. I'm guessing it was made in 1947... maybe.

I have sn. S110846. I'm guessing it was made about the middle of the first year.

Found these other K frame carved grips in the same box with the others. I don't know by who or where they were made.

It took me a minute to find these. It's always the last place you look.. K frames carved in Germany.

I put a hammer off a model 38 on mine. I didn't like the sharp edges on my 36 hammer either.

Your pistol is equipped with a high speed hammer if that helps.
