Totally up to you and your preferences. I personally don’t care for polished stainless revolvers. Too flashy/tacky looking. If I’m looking at a used revolver and someone’s polished it, that’s a no-go for me.

Hate to hear this. I am going to be sending my 2.5” 986 back for poor fitment between the frame and yoke. Hate to see these kinds of issues at all, but especially not on Performance Center guns.

It also looks to me like the frame is bowed as opposed to the yoke. This is only my second Performance Center gun, my first being a 327 TRR8 which did not have any issues out of the box. On the non-performance center front, I have a 6.5” 500 that shoots a foot high at 25 yards and out of the box...
