I had a similar realization about 8 years ago, but it was the Gen 4 Glock 19. Shot it better than my M&P first time out after quite a bit of time with my M&P with an Apex DKAEK trigger. Also happened to fit my hand better. Though recently I made the switch to the Sig P365XL for EDC.
What about asking them to send back the barrel and cylinder off your old gun along with the new 329PD? Then maybe you could have a local gunsmith do it?
The new Primary Arms Holosun 507C X2 and EGW mounting plate added 1.75 ounces to the empty weight. That will put the loaded weight just under 24 ounces. Though I am afraid I’ll have to trim the holster to accommodate.
It isn’t so much the guns themselves, but a lot of my optic mounts have specific torque settings.
I did get the Chapman kit because the are hollow ground.
I bought a Chapman Tools gunsmithing kit, but unfortunately their bits don’t play well with my Wheeler FAT Wrench. Does anyone know of a good torque wrench that works well with the Chapman bits?
I'm not sure I even understand the question. If you have adjustable sights they have two screws holding the adjustable sight to the frame of the gun. Those holes are factory drilled and tapped. You just need to find a mounting place, or picatinny rail, that mounts to the preexisting holes and...
