thanks for all the leads. will check them out. I did not want a holster where the 5" bbl sticks out. most of the manufacturers want to sell the holster for a 4.25" bbl to me for the 5" bbl and that is why it is so hard to find a 5" bbl holster.

must slingshot slide I just read your question. I have the M&P Pro 40 cal 5" bbl. Just got it never fired it. Just now slide locked open, inserted mag and had to slingshot the slide to load the chamber. Just inserting the mag does nothing. Hope this helps.

just purchased SKU 178032, the M&P Pro 5" 40 cal, having difficult time finding a belt OWB right hand holster for IDPA. Want holster long enough to cover the 5" bbl and front sight. Would appreciate help.
