    38 S&W- .38 Special

gaucho1: I'm not sure if you are going to trim the .38 Special brass, but if so, I'm assuming that you reload. .38 S&W or Colt NP brass is not that hard to come by. At worst, order some from Starline, or similar, or keep your eyes open for older boxes of 38 S&W; they seem to pop up often enough...

    Buffalo Bore 32 H&R magnum +P

Since my chronograph died, I haven't been able to do any velocity checks, but I loaded up some 100g XTP's with W296 and have never shot them. Sorry, I'm not of much help...

    45 auto rim

I've got a hundred pieces, mostly reloaded ammo, but for what it would cost to ship, you can simply order new from Midway or elsewhere.

    0.22 JET AMMO ?

Sorry, not much help here... Foster Bear Arms in Foster, RI had a few bags of .22 Jet brass on the shelf, but that was awhile ago and if you're not in the area, it doesn't help much. Reloading the Jet shouldn't be much differnet than a Hornet, just go easy so you don't crush the necks, I...

    45 auto rim

Shell holder (I don't have a Dillon, so maybe this means an entire conversion kit...?) for the AR should be all you need extra. (Assumes you have the 45 AR cases, of course.)

    22 cal tear gas rounds

I can't help you with the 22's, but I know Polygunbag has Israeli tear gas rounds in 308. .308 Israeli tear gas ammo on links larger view

    Old 38 S&W ammo

I hear that! I cast and load the 35 Rem., as well as, the 358 Win., but I have guns for neither! Same for plinking loads with the .30-30... There are a few guys that use it from time to time.

    Individuals shipping ammo?

UPS. Go to the service center, some franchise stores don't accept ammo shipments. Use the computers there to register and make out the label to present to the clerk. Any future visits are a breeze. For some reason, I've never been able to get FedEx to accept ammo shipments. Live ammo/explosives...

    Ever Have This Happen ?

Big Cholla sounds reasonable... ...have any of you folks reloaded the Leverevolution bullets in handgun loads and had similar problems? I haven't used them to date, but would be curious if the OPs problem would persist had he done his own reloads with these bullets.

    Old 38 S&W ammo

The only offering I find for new 38 S&W ammo is priced at $29.50 a box. You might get more or less depending on whether someone values the older box or figures the older ammo is less valuable than "factory fresh" new ammo...? gun-deals.com - User-Submitted Gun & Ammunition Deals

has anybody used/heard of this ammo

Echoing the above post... A-MERC brass (mostly 45 ACP in my case) tends to have irregular (off-center, cock-eyed etc) flash holes and tends to stand out when resizing; always seems to be out of spec with every other brand. Cull it and scrap it is usually what works best. American Ammunition used...

    Reconciling discrepancies in reloading manuals

Beats me, neighbor! FWIW, Lyman 47 doesn't list any 357 Magnum cast bullet load data for HS-6. There's only one HS-7 load for the #358242 121g LRN (10.0g to 13.2g) and this is under the T/C Remington XP-100 section. Also, I do know a fella that works for Lyman at the test-firing range, so he...

Looking for Recommendations for 230 gr. Golden Sabre loads with Unique

If you have both bullets, can't you measure the bullet lengths and seat each to the same internal depth, measure COL and work from there? FWIW, Hornady 3rd Edition lists 4.8g to 7.3g Unique w/ the 230g FMJ #4518 (OAL:1.200"). Lyman 47 lists 4.1g to 6.7g Unique w/ the Speer 225 JHP #4479...

Hey a little help to a newbe please

Ditto the above... You can go the simple route and buy one powder for the pistol rounds and one for the rifle. You won't find one powder for every caliber. Study your loading manuals and see what powder is versatile (ie. has load data for most bullet varieties/weights in 9 and 45) and then see...

How many of you have actually run across

Seems as though I had some 45 LC, but right now I only have three 38 Special balloon-head cases before me. One is "U.S.C.CO 38 S&W SPL", two are "REM-UMC 38 SPL".
