    reloading bench

Very nice set-up. I like it much better than what I am using. A desk just does not make a good loading bench. Too bad American Workbench went out of business. Those were awesome. Here's mine...

    question on primed brass

I have never known anyone who de-capped a live primer and re-seated it. But I am glad to hear that many here have without a failure to fire, or worse, a loud and unexpected noise. When primers get up to a dollar a piece we may all decide to do it.

Most popular car the year you were born

1954 Nash Metropolitan. If they were 6" shorter you could hug the cute little buggers.

    question on primed brass

I have 46 primed .45 Colt cases. These cases were stuffed with a very hot charge meant for the loader's TC Contender. I pulled the bullets and will re-load with a much softer charge for my Model 25-3 Smith. The brass is now the color of not-brass and I want them nice and shiny. In the past I...

That gun you just like for non-rational reasons (my Colt Gold Cup)

Remington Model 7 CDL in .300WSM. It was nothing I needed but something I had to have for some reason or another.

    Oldest gun you carry

Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless built in 1926. If you bought a new car when this was made, you bought a Ford Model T. I love this little baby.

    38 special case large primer?

I recently picked up five .357 Magnum cases with large primers during a range session. Never heard of such a thing until finding this old thread. Headstamp is REM-UMC so I knew they were old brass. They are nickel plated as well. I decided to load and shoot them, then changed my mind and put...

    jdowd 5 stars!

Excellent seller. Helped me through the purchase, answered all questions, and packaged the old Smith so well that the package could have been driven over and the revolver would not have been damaged. This transaction could not have gone any better!

    Marking cases

Here is an option. I use this on my rifle cases. just push it down, the point leaves a small dimple when spring releases it.

    Securing ammo

I don't lock my ammo up. It's all in a climate controlled room in the basement hidden from prying eyes in kitchen cabinets. Back when life was normal the last thing you would expect was for a burglar to steal your ammo as it was real heavy and wasn't worth much money. That was back when we could...

    Model 28 help

Thanks for reply. The pic is of my Model 28. The serial is S224xxx. According to the book I just bought that puts it 1961 or thereabouts. I have the box it came in with all the paperwork and cleaning stuff. With all the replies received, I can safely assume the stocks are incorrect. Perhaps one...
