9mm vs .40S&W Shield. Here is a YouTube showing them being shot back to back with three different shooters. You can visually see the difference... It really comes down to personal preference. I personally like the snapper feel of the .40 S&W. Shooting the M&P Shield 40 and 9mm BACK TO BACK...

Ahhh, the great slide lock, or slide release debate? I'm assuming S&W refers to it as a slide stop? Thanks for your help with that.

The M&P with the new trigger. The M&P feels the best in my hand when comparing them to the competition. Very classy design, great quality and accurate too. I now have a new favorite polymer pistol line! AND they are made in the USA! Good job S&W.

Had the same thing happen to my Shield 40. Outer recoil spring came off the guide rod. I hadn't even shot the gun yet. Just disassembled it after bringing it home from the local FFL. After the recoil spring broke, I was a bit disappointed. This gun has never been shot. Brand new, just...
