Inquiry Regarding Unusual Barrel Weight on Smith & Wesson Single Shot Target Pistol

Do the numbers match on barrel and latch match frame serial #? Any numbers on hidden areas of weight? Its within model 1 serial range. Grips definitely not original but look nice. Any info. Written on inside of grips? Any stamping on handle under grips suggesting a factory rework?

Need Help to ID this Old Lighter

I can not help with any information but I find it a funny coincidence. I just put a new wick and cotton in a Prince tabletop lighter yesterday. Much newer than OP lighter but still vintage.

    Third model perfected 22lr

Yes, sir, I did. I was not expecting an Olympic barrel in the under 9000 serial range. The cartridge falls all the way in under gravity only, so no olympic. I can't wait to shoot it though. The sight picture is really good with the wide patridge front blade. It is set for either a 6 o'clock hold...

    Third model perfected 22lr

Found this little gem on consignment at my local gun store. It has all matching numbers on 10 inch barrel, latch, frame and right stock all # 8386. I figure this puts it around early 1917 timeframe. The only item I question as not original is the rear sight blade. It is very tall and has a matte...

Please, is this an authentic H.E. Triple Lock?

Looks to me like the serial is 3124 on the butt. There is a 30 after that but it doesn't look as deeply stamped and at a very slight angle compared to the other numbers. ???

Has this S&W 44 special 3rd model been reblued?

Looks re-blued to me too. Also looks like a hump back hammer, would be a good shooter at the right price.

    Early (?) 14-3

Looks like 1K1 to 1K39500 were made in 1970. Excellent time frame for shooters. I have 2 model 14-3's. One 6 inch the other 8 inch barrel. Great guns.

Found an early SV serial post war commercial M&P

Goony looks like you have 4 and 5 inch barrel guns too. I like them! Jp@ck should be along to get my latest into the database. Just wondering if SV 771747 may have shipped in late 1945?

Found an early SV serial post war commercial M&P

It was very exciting to come across a .38 M&P with a 5 inch barrel and all original with numbered pre magnas for $500. It is in very nice condition with serial being SV 771747. This is my second gun like this, my other being a 4 inch barrel with SV 807087. The most interesting difference between...

    S&W 14-3 - one of my masterpieces

Very nice! I am particularly perplexed by the 16-2! You only paid 150 euros for it? Kind of hard to find in the U.S., and very expensive if you do find one. That gun was a huge deal for you!

    1954 Colt model 3-5-7

I have been on the search for a decent Colt model 3-5-7 now for about 6 years. Many rode miles in holsters but I held out for pretty one. I have a "like new" 1949 police positive special in dual tone nickel, so I wanted a match. Colt only made the dual tone up until 1954, the first year of their...

    Pool Table

There are only 2 pool tables that will hold their value. A Brunswick Gold Crown 1, 2 or 3. made in 50's, 60's and early 70's. They were only made in 9 foot or oversized 8 foot tables. Best tables bare none. Brunswick made a few models in the 1940's that are very very desirable . You have to have...
