@Sevens post inspired me to share this one. Post war M&P, I don’t think that it is a PD gun but maybe a security guard’s gun issued to him when he does his rounds around the plant.

I have these two;
4003TSW marked Atlanta Police and a 469 with large numbers stamped on the frame which I was told was a PD gun but no idea of agency. I don’t know if it really is or not but I don’t know of any other reason to mark the frame like that.
I see now that the engraving on the bottom of the barrel also is marked
“Exb-2”
I am guessing for exhibit #2 ?
