Yes it was.. with the factory "oil paper" wrapped around the slide just like it came from the factory.

It's been put away for a few years and was properly cleaned and oiled when put away. The slide is rusty as well as the mags? I Damn near had a stroke thinking my other weapons I hadn't seen in a while would also be rusty, however noneof them are, not even the old G.I. 45? What gives...
