Thanks for all the knowledge!! I removed the grip and found a 5.13 stamped there. May of 1913? What would May of 2013 be stamped? Would a letter tell me about the refinish/repair? Thanks again.

I had him measure the cyl and he said it was 1 3/8 inchs So would I be correct in assuming it was probably made in 1881 due to the 3 digit serial number?

Congrat's on your 29. I have the exact same one that I picked up used back in the 80's. It was my first handgun and I still love it and shoot it. I'm sure you'll have a blast shooting it.
