    627 Pro excessive barrel wear?

This is not lead build up. It is erosion of the metal itself.

    627 Pro excessive barrel wear?

Hi folks. Looking over my 627 Pro I noticed what looks like "excessive" wear around the mouth of the barrel where it meets the cylinder. I'm used to seeing some of this on my revolvers but never as much as this. The wear on the inside has actually increased the distance from the flat of the...

Trail gun: I need some input!

I want a new trail/woods gun and I cant make up my mind. I'm looking for a more lightweight and easier to carry revolver that can shoot hot and heavy loaded .357 Magnum to replace the big and heavy S&W 627 Pro I have now. I don't live near moose or brown/grizzly bears so my main concern is big...

    Sight options for accuracy?

The target plate I use at 176 yards is spray painted neon orange. If it weren't for that I probably wouldn't be able to see it either!

    Sight options for accuracy?

Thanks good info Jim, thank you. If anyone can point me to some more precision sights that have thinner front blades or rear notch or would work the same way, I'd appreciate it!

    Sight options for accuracy?

What type of sights are good for accurate shooting a longer distances than the usual 7-25 yards? I have a 4" 627 Pro that I know is more than capable of accuracy beyond that range, but the wide notch and front blade of most sights I see aren't helping much. This is really just for fun, but...

627 Pro Series - Need some help.

Most accurate, most fun, and favorite of all my handguns (out of 12 others) to shoot. I HIGHLY recommend this revolver. I use speed loaders from 5 Star along with loading blocks from them and speed strips from Tuff Products. They both work great.

627 Pro Series - Need some help.

Hi folks. I've owned a 627 Pro Series 4" revolver for the last couple of years. It is without a doubt my favorite handgun to shoot. My problem is that I've had a hard time finding a holster and sights for it. For the sights I'd really like something that can offer accuracy at longer range. I...
