I contacted S&W support by email, the dealer that ordered by MP45C made the mistake of requesting the safety. I am hoping they will just send me a set, if not the quoted me about $12.00 to purchase them.

I was pretty sure that was the issue, and further research seems to back that up. I will go back and fully load both and let them set for a few days and see what happens. Thanks much for your input and assistance

Picked up my new M&P45C today. Today when I attempted to put either magazine in the pistol with 8 rounds the magazines would not fully seat. If I put in with only 7 rounds there was no problem. I have noticed several posting indicating that the magazines should be fully loaded and left...
