    i think this whole 'made in Taiwan' thing is kind of a fallacy. i don't think either china or Taiwan are bad at manufacturing, its just that we have been ordering mostly cheap crap from them in the past few decades, and you get what you pay for. nowadays some nice things are made in china too...

    You can find a few of these on ebay. If i remember right its 420 steel, but if your ok with that theres not much that can be wrong with a 1 piece knife like that. and $8? ill pay that much for an ugly screwdriver, and they don't even come in a neato sheath like that :P
