    I found a model 19 and jumped on it. Just don’t see many around here and when you do they’re gone fast. It has a set of stocks with the speed loader cut out. I didn’t think they started putting those type stocks on until the 80’s. Am I wrong about that or did the stocks get swapped at some point?

    Hello, new guy here and fairly new to revolvers. I own a 586 no dash made in 1980 and 629-1 made in 1982. I’m looking forward to taking a deer with at least the 44 magnum once the rut is over, and possibly the 357. I’ve found this forum to be very helpful in the past and decided to join.
