This one is rated +P. After thorough brushing and cleaning, all that I see is straight lines end to end. Could this be rifling? I am not familiar with smooth bore rifling

I have a well used 642-1 with a 1 7/8" barrel. I do not see any rifling in the barrel. Is this normal for a short barrel? Accuracy seems to be fine. Thanks Dave D

I see a hole in sear for retention but nothing in hammer

I don't see any hole or locating pin in the hammer. Only a hole in the sear. Is that correct?

Ordered new spring .Don't know where original one went to. Never saw it . When I removed hammer the sear dropped out. Never saw a spring. Question is how to install new one when you have size XXXl hands?
