I just received a S&W M.66-7. It has what I'm calling a "safety lock". It's the first gun I've owned with such a devise. My problem is that there is no key for the lock. I'm wondering what it will take to get one. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

I just picked a really nice Victory Model...US NAVY serial # V91159. Everything matches! Crane & recess #27099, recess has 08 stamped above the number. Any and all help regarding it's manuf. date, location shipped, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
