I've been having difficulty finding a rear sight leaf for a S&W 625-6. I've looked at e gun parts, and a number of other places, with no success. Can someone please suggest a good source for spare parts for this pistol? Thank you for your help.

If they are going to do it for LEOs they should do it for all of their customers. Imagine how many pistols they would sell if you could special order any current revolver without the internal lock.

I have read they are increasing the number of models without the internal lock. Some appear to be special runs, if I remember correctly. Does anyone have a complete list of current and soon to be released models which are available without the internal lock? Thank you for your help.

Actually it was Para who recommended the 629-4 to me. He mentioned it was because he didn't like the round butt on a magnum pistol, so I'm fairly certain the 629-4 has the square butt. Will the X-frame grip work on the square butt, or just the round one?

How does the Ruger Redhawk compare with the 629, if neither are ported? I talked to someone today who sold his 629 to get the Redhawk. Why would somebody do that?
