Thank you for all the replies. I’m going to get the A Zoom snap caps just to be safe. I have several spent casings, but I think i prefer the added security of the cushion if the snap caps.

This may have been discussed elsewhere, but I can’t find any thread specifically about it. I have a Smith 15-3 with the firing pin on the hammer. Is this safe to dry fire? Also, it’s marked .38 S&W special. Is it safe to shoot .38 Special +P? Thanks.
