IMO N frames are great guns, K frames are great guns, and the L frame is probably the best compromise possible between the two. They will handle heavy use at the range like a N and carry closer to a K, get the one that feels best in your hand and don't look back, I promise you will end up...

This is my wife's gun (it's a Taurus,:eek:sorry if that offends anyone) which was in the safe for about a year and a half, was going through my collection and pulled this out considering it as a BUG and noticed the finish is in poor condition not really sure what happened she said she cleaned it...

I have the opportunity to purchase a 3inch Model 29-10 "Bounty Hunter" was just looking for an est. value on it. (I am going to buy it) it has holster wear and some scratches I would put it at 80%. He is open to negotiation so I can probably get it for the price I name.

ONLY HITS COUNT As has probably already been overstated, IMO the weapon you choose to carry matters little when compared with shot placement and your ability to acquire your target quickly. One .22 to the proper soft tissue will beat 12 45's that don't hit. I practice one hand point shooting...

I shoot about 200 rounds every week will it affect it as time wears on or what

Had this gun for some years and shot it pretty regular but lately I've noticed a very slight gap between the shroud and the frame itself. Am I getting too old and not noticing things the way I should, or is this actually a problem?

Got this one from my buddy's wife when he passed, he told me it was issued to him when he was with the Boise PD. S serial number, fella at S&W told was probably shipped around 67-68, haven't bothered to get it lettered. I absolutely LOVE it and it shoots!!
