I'm sorry, I did not make myself clear. the grips are rubber, probably pachmayers. Looking at the head of the screw the escusteon is not visible. All it can see is the head of the screw and the rubber grip only.

I carry a model 640-3 in a Ken Null city slicker under my shirt. Once you get it adjusted to your body shape, it literally disappers. I wear a shirt that has a pattern on it. Don't wear a solid colored shirt. The pattern breaks up the lines of the holster. The "busier" the pattern, the better.

My choice for defensive revolver in a model 640-3 with crimson laser grips carried one of three ways. 1. smart carry 2. Mika pocket holster 3. Null's city slicker. The reason i use 3 types of carry depends on my manner of dress.

I have a Model 640-3 and the screw that holds the grips to the gun will not back out so that I can remove the grips. The screw will turn, in both directions, but will not unscrew so that I can remove the screw and then remove the grips. Any suggestions?
