What are the best grips for shield? N82 tactical holster?

The Talon granular grips were way too sticky in the N82 Pro holster for me. It actually made it hard to draw the gun. Great grips however. If you go with the N82 holster, try the rubber Talons first.

    M&P 9 vs Glock 19

Hmmm, I always thought the grip on the g19 was the same as the grip on the g17., except for length. I was having a problem with width. I think you're right, though. The g19 just looks much better as well ( duff as it is :) )

    M&P 9 vs Glock 19

I used to own a G17 gen3. I loved the simplicity. After a half hour video, I had it to pieces, and back again. If I closed my eyes, picked it up and pointed it, then opened my eyes, it was lined up perfectly. The only problem was that with that perfect grip, I couldn't properly reach the...

    what's you guys opinion

I'm in MA as well. Do the mag limits ( max 10 ) apply to you as well? Either way, I'd say M&P over Taurus.

    Gun cleaning

Not only that, he sprays right onto the breech face, and not a little either. I could just imagine all the oil making it into the firing pin channel.

If you don't clean your guns like that guy, you're off to a good start.

    New M&P45 in the family

Congrats on the purchase. I have the midsize 45 and I love it.

    M&P45 - MA-compliant+Apex or 48 State?

I'm in MA and bought a 9mm shield, and 9mm FS, both MA guns. I managed to get my hands on a non-MA M&P 45 midsize. I put Apex DCAEK on both 9mms, and their triggers are a lot better than the free state version. If you are comfortable installing the DCAEK yourself, buy the MA model and install...

    Loading Shield - problem

There are many reasons why an autoloading pistol may not work correctly. Probably more than half of those are user error. It is hard for us to tell you if the spring is fine without detailed pictures. If it is indeed not fine, and requires the famous 1/4 turn to work right, I would put it...

    Loading Shield - problem

Are you using a full mag to push up the sear deactivation lever during reassembly? Eeeek! Use your finger, or an empty mag.

    Sear Deactivation Lever

Hmmm, that is strange. I have not experienced that with any of my 3 m&ps. It should move pretty freely using your finger. When the slide is off, does it move? And if it does, does it lower and raise the front of the sear? As a side note, as long as you are sure the gun is empty, it is...

Anyone buy a 2014 M&P 45 and have the new sear or trigger reset?

I have a 45 mid, test fire date of Feb 2014. It has the old trigger/slide stop/sear. Other than the gritty feeling, the trigger is pretty good. I'll get the files out and sort that gritty feeling soon.

    Duty gun help

To bolster what griz517 said, my 45 mid has a test casing from Feb 2014 and it doesn't have the new trigger bar. Reset is meh. On the other hand, it shoots quite well and I really like it .. it is stock, btw. I shoot it better than my 9FS, which also doesn't have the new trigger bar, but does...

    shooting left no matter what.

First thing I would do is try to shoot from a rest. If shooting from a rest yields POI on POA, then it is how you are pulling the trigger. Otherwise, the sights need adjusting. Like you, I have found that with the shield and with the M&P 9FS, a slow squeeze of the trigger puts my shots left...
