I recently put a PSA M-Lok mid-length upper (516446813) on my M&P Sport II lower. Fits nice, works great.

Similar story here. Love 'em. Cheap (I paid ~$25), light, easier to grip than stock, and lots of accessory options w/ M-LOK. They're on sale at Primary Arms for $24.99 right now.

Also consider the JCOMP V2. Love it on my M&P, and it's only $34. Really good brake, and also helps a bit with muzzle rise with the top-side ports.

I feel your pain. Even with my Type 3 FFL and COE, Midway won't ship it to me. Oh well. SGAmmo, Target Sports USA, and several others will and typically have better pricing than Midway... although this was a pretty fantastic deal. Good thing I bought a few thousand before Jan 1 at the same price.

I can't answer the OP's original question since I have the 1.0 M&P9 Shield, but just a bit of advice based on my experience with Alien Gear -- specifically, the Cloak Tuck -- but I believe this would hold true for their other models... If you get one, take it apart and Loctite all the screws...

hmmm, guess I should have read this forum before breaking in my new M&P15 Sport II last weekend. Or, alternatively, ignorance is bliss? Ran 420 rounds Wolf Military Classic 55gr soft points after warming it up with Wolf Gold (90 rounds) and IMI 5.56 (90 rounds). Not a crazy high round count...

450 rounds of Wolf Military Classic through my M&P9 Shield. Zero issues. Maybe slightly dirtier than higher quality ammo, but it's easy to fully clean in <5 minutes so who cares. The only real "downside" in my experience is the Wolf has a much bigger flash than my carry ammo. Not an issue...
