I have a 25-5 in nickle....looks original, not a re-do by appearance. I read that these were only produced in blue so am curious about my assessment of this piece. Would appreciate help on this subject.

moon clips in 45 long colt revolver I have a colt 1909 45 LC with cylinders bored through for longer case. Can I use clips on 45 ACP shells safely in this weapon if the loads are reduced for lower pressure??

I've seen them on gunbroker in the 400-500 range---not perfect but nice.
