OK one more dumb ammo ?

First choice would be the Winchester's, they shoot fine in my 15-22. I shy away from the others. Bill

does anyone else wish for a 22 MAG version?

I would be interested in one. Only problem is ammo is hard to come by. I've put back 1500 rounds for my PMR-30. Bill

    M&P 15-22 Pistol

It has been mentioned in several threads about the 15-22pistol. I dont recall it being the topic of a thread. I enjoyed the one I had but sold it. Never tried to swap the parts between the rifle and pistol. Bill

    Target v Plinking

This is 100 rounds of Winchester 36 grain HP's at 50 yds using a Tru Glo Red Dot. Shot from the bench using sand bags. Good enough for plinking, I use the bolt action 22 for tack driving.

    Target v Plinking

You might want to check the barrel nut to make sure it is tight; I sold my first 15-22 because it did not produce good groups at 50 yds; should have checked the barrell nut first. The ones I have now shoot much better. Bill

    Should I Sell It?

Sell it and finish the AR; you will be able to replace in later on down the road. I've sold 2 plus a 15-22 pistol, my 3rd rifle is in the safe along with my grand daughters pink camo version. These 2 are the best and most accurate of the ones I've had. Bill

    Don't tell me I'm crazy

The suspense is killing me. It is most likely a fouling issue. Sure wish he would post more test results. Bill

    Don't tell me I'm crazy

I just made a suggestion to change a part; everyone else was just having fun with their remarks. Of the moving parts in the bolt assembly that would be easiest to change. Bill

    Don't tell me I'm crazy

Replace the recoil spring on the bolt; it has been weakend from staying in a compressed state for extended periods of time. Bill
