    New to me 4563TSW

Picked up a 4563 a couple of years ago to join my 6906. I love it. Shoot it much better than the 6906, tend to pull the smaller pistol more. I've got Hogue grips on both of mine and love them. Robert

Leather IWB holster recommendations for 4567?

Bit late in the discussion, but I went through the same thing a few months ago looking for an IBW holster for my 4563. Being the cheapskate I am, I looked into making my own. Did just a little research and ended up making a leather version of a supertuck using scrap leather from a hobby shop and...

    Renewed life in the 6906

Picked up a used 6906 a few years ago and loved it. Houge grips came with it and I like them. Used it as my carry piece and it was reliable to a fault. Ran a few handloads through it that seemed to hang up and keep the gun from fully going to battery. Only had that happen with the handloads...

    4506-1 mags

Just ordered one for my new (to me) 4563. They were on sale at Midway for $30.86 I think. Robert

I am disapointed called for a 2nd 6906 maybe done

Love my 6906 also, but gotta disagree with the Hogue grips. I love mine. It fits my hand perfectly. Picked up a 4563 this weekend and had a choice between one with the Hogue grips and one with stock grips. Went with the Hogues. Again, it fit my hand much better. Robert

Love the holster. Would love to have something cool like that for my granddad's old top break. Robert

    Hello...again

Hello again, Had to reregister, after fighting for awhile to recover my old handle (Doc Savage) I just bit the bullet and reregistered. For some reason I got the first email after requesting my password, but when clicking the link to receive a reset password I never got a second email. Got tired...

Pics: The New and the Old

Thanks for the compliments on the photos, used to do commercial photography, but engineering paid better It shoots pretty good. Need to get some fresh ammo though, what I have is from the 70's. Action is smooth and really with all the complaints about the Sigma trigger, I don't think it's...

Thanks Smith10. GIJoe, Definitely staying with the Sigma. Got it after finding out the revolver was 110 years old Robert

Here are some shots of the old S&W pistol that was my grandfather's along with the new Sigma I just purchased. Crossed Pistols The obligatory gun and knife shot (we call it my pig sticker) Robert

Shot my 109 year old S&W today!

It is a pretty awesome feeling. I popped a few through my grandfather's 4th model this year. I had a hard time believing it is about 111 years old (see my earlier post on the gun here). Action is real smooth and fires wonderfully. However it has more heirloom value than value as a shooter, so...

    Looking for info on pistol

Only shot about 3 rounds last summer. Brother and I probably went thru 20 rounds back in the 70's, and the only ammo I have is from that same box which was old back in the 70's. Probably need to get some new ammo before I judge whether it is accurate or not. Right now I'm thinking about getting...

    Looking for info on pistol

Thanks all, It doesn't show that great, but in the two shots of the cylinder, the barrel number does show. One thing I noted (and why I posted both pictures) is that the first time I looked, I only saw the last 4 digits of the serial number on the barrel. The second set of pics I took of it...

    Looking for info on pistol

Almost forgot, it is a S&W .38. Dad thought Granddad got it in WWI. Robert
