    Having a shorter reset is great for follow up shots if you are consciously thinking about it. After SDM school I was way more cognizant of feeling for it, however I did not deploy after it so it was generally in training situations. I didn't realize that the M4 had different trigger pull weight...

    Not an LEO, but in a combat situation your senses get pretty wonky. In most TIC's most of our marksmanship fundamentals went out the window, a lot of shots (in fact the vast majority) were taken in the effort of suppression -- volume of fire pretty much just to keep the enemy from shooting back...
