I bought it brand new. All in all ive put about 300 rounds through it all **** ammo. Ive cleaned it twice. Granted im still learning how to clean my ar well but ive cleaned it twice and i keep my guns very clean. my thinking was maybe the ammo was just low powered and since the gun is new the...
i have an m&p15 sport i bought about four months ago. I am an experienced shooter but new to the AR platform. when shooting steel case(tula) and re-manufactured ammo through my sport it occasionally fails to fire, the bolt doesnt lock all the forward into battery. Is this something im doing...
thanks for all the responses. I would like to hunt with it as i am a hunter, i also hunt moose in vermont when i get a tag and plan on traveling to big bear country to hunt someday so i feel it would be a very good all around piece. Also on another note the 4 inch 629 costs the same as a 627 pro...
no i dont reload, but once i get my life in order ( i just graduated college) i plan on reloading. i was planning on the 4 inch barrel and renting one at the range sounds like a great idea i was thinking that myself
experienced with rifles and have shot many 40 cal pistol rounds (i realize the stark difference from a 40 cal). i know recoil will be heavy but ive always found people make recoil out to be worse than it is whether its been a 12 gauge or a 300 win mag. im just entertaining the idea of getting a...
heres the link regarding game animals taken. 357 Magnum in use
and quite honestly there are few dangerous animals i would want to take head on charging me with any gun, adrenaline and the biology of many four legged critters of any size make head on shots much less effective
Id take a 4 inch 627 pro. For reference doug wesson killed i believe it was either a grizz or brown with one shot from a 357 at 125 yards, 8 inch barrel. So clearly 357 Can get it done
so i know the 627 pro series is cut for moonclips, but if you load each chamber individually without moonclips is there any extra risk of light strikes on the primers due to lack of moonclips when firing?
i really need to hold both one after the other. i like the features of the 627 but if the l frame feels better im gonna go with that. i too am really enjoying reading this thread as i love guns and love hearing everyones opinions on their favorite models
also (this may be a dumb question) can i load the 627 pro without any moonclips in. Just put load each chamber individually with no moon clip attached or on the cylinder. i dont really know how the whole moon clips thing works
as im sure you all have seen i am torn between a 4 inch 686 plus and a 627 pro. im brett favreing it right now i cant make up my mind. I know you are all fiercely opinionated about your firearms ( i am too i love it) and want you to convince me which is better (with pictures and personal...
